Our Process
We know what we do, and we do it well.
01Initial Meetings
We'll discuss your product and business goals together. At this stage, we want to get to know each other better and define our workflow.
02Research Insights
We understand that while nothing is impossible, not everything is feasible. The research will help us identify the pain points of your users and bottlenecks of your current design, and map the customer journey.
03Experience Designing
After gathering enough input from you, your competitors, data on clients’ behaviour, and additional sources, we can finally start to design paths, layouts, flows, and the overall experience. During this process, you’ll be constantly informed and updated. You’ll also be presented with mockups and interactive prototypes.
04User Testing
Delivering a flawless user experience is a continuous journey. Together with users, we’ll optimize flows, rework data structures, and enhance visual components. In-depth user testing helps create a design that makes heads turn, fingers tap, and mice click.
05Design Solution
We create mood boards and design user interfaces using Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch. Our experts will iterate the designs based on the usability test results and your business needs.

FAQ
What are UI/UX services?
UI/UX services cover the full design process for digital products — web applications, mobile apps, enterprise platforms, and websites. At Rare Crew, our UI/UX services include: user research and stakeholder workshops, UX strategy and information architecture, wireframing and interactive prototyping, high-fidelity UI design in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, usability testing, and complete design system handover for development teams. We have designed interfaces for 30+ web applications, 20+ mobile apps, and 50+ websites — serving clients in entertainment, sports, fashion, and media.
What is the difference between UI and UX?
Both should go hand in hand if you’re planning a complex project. UI stands for User Interface and is the graphic representation of layout and functionalities of your app, web, or other interactive format. UX stands for User Experience and is often overlooked and underestimated. You want the user to have the best experience possible when browsing, scrolling, shopping, booking, etc. That’s why your design has to be intuitive, familiar, and distinct. But that’s not always an easy task.
Is there a difference between UI/UX development and design?
Great UI/UX is the bigger picture and the final destination of collaboration between designers and programmers. In the world of front-end services, a designer has to know what options are available to code, and a programmer has to have some aesthetic taste and empathy towards the end-user. As a team, both are important for the process and outcome.
Is analysis part of the UI/UX design service?
Yes. Analysis is the foundation of every Rare Crew UI/UX engagement. Before any design work begins, we conduct a structured research phase: stakeholder workshops to align on business goals, user interviews or surveys to understand the audience, behavioral data analysis if an existing product is being redesigned, competitor benchmarking, and a UX audit of any current interface. For redesigns, the audit alone frequently identifies 10 to 15 measurable usability issues before a single pixel is moved. Skipping this phase is the most common reason UI/UX projects fail to improve business metrics.
Is UI/UX just another name for graphic design services?
No. Graphic design produces visual assets — logos, illustrations, marketing materials. UI/UX design is an evidence-based discipline focused on how users interact with software. At Rare Crew, every design decision is justified by user research data, not aesthetic preference. Our tools are Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch for design; Hotjar and analytics platforms for behavioral data; and structured usability testing with real users to validate decisions before development begins. The goal for enterprise platforms is efficiency: reducing the steps to complete a task, minimizing training requirements, and ensuring complex workflows are intuitive.
How long does a UI/UX project take?
Timeline depends on the scope and complexity of the product being designed. A UX audit of an existing product — identifying usability issues and producing a recommendations report — typically takes 3 to 5 weeks. A full design engagement for a new enterprise platform covering discovery through to a handover-ready design system typically takes 2 to 4 months. For projects where design runs in parallel with development, Rare Crew works 1 to 2 sprints ahead of the engineering team, ensuring designs are validated before developers begin each module.
What is the difference between a wireframe and a prototype?
A wireframe is a low-fidelity structural blueprint — it shows layout, content hierarchy, and navigation without visual design or interactivity. A prototype is an interactive simulation of the interface — it can be low-fidelity (clickable wireframes) or high-fidelity (pixel-perfect with animations). Rare Crew produces both: wireframes in the architecture phase for stakeholder alignment and structural decisions, and interactive high-fidelity prototypes in Figma before any development begins. Prototypes are used for usability testing — we validate with real users before engineering starts to avoid expensive redesigns mid-development.
